myth, race, empire,
what more could one want from history
allow me to count things to be thankful for
a trick which brings out the indian in me
tonto
at this moment in time
i suppose i may remember potatoes
and folk feeding on turkey
and making room around our fire for all kinds generally
but obviously making a particular special space
for those with better guns
