True to an extent, but you have to take into consideration that the best of Pink Floyd's later Albums - Wish You Were Hear, Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall - all concern Syd to a greater or lesser degree. They never seemed to get over what had happened to him, Waters especially. And although the music changed, they never lost sight of Syd's legacy, even if they couldn't match his genius.

Perhaps Mike's music collection should be expanded to include the earlier Floyd albums. I can see him in Lennon specs and fluffy hair amidst the light show.
