TIME TO FACE THE FACTS
Today I am 24,322 days old.
that is 583,728 hours old.
or 35,023,680 seconds old.
I grow older by the second.
No, by the thousandths of a second
by the trillionths, by the sextillionths.
The smallest time step considered observable
is known as Plank time, which is approximately
5.391×10-44 seconds.
But, of course, that's just observable time.
There's also all those
unobservable time steps
underlying Plank time.
The point is this
just as with
viewing stars
our own lives
are always
a looking into the past
we are reactionaries all.
Even our most spontaneous actions
happen in the past.
There is no present accessible to us.
So what?
