Scottish scene
a bog
peat beneath
a calm
a still
the water of life
burns
the yore of oats
commerce
the yaw of boats
gone from Oxford
we stopped to eat al fresco
on a verge behind a motorway cafe
our buffet buffeted from time to time
by trucks quickly slowing
their brakes squealing
like hurt pigs
