As far as I know there are only two kinds of Ritchie--there's the engineering kind and then there's the professory/scribbler kind. Oh, and the military kind, General Sir Neil Methuen Ritchie, who lost Tobruk...and then there was Alexander Ritchie (and Euphemia) of Iona, who revived all that celtic knot stuff...
