**Actually, Judy, it isn't quite that comical.  The slim majority will 
be used again and declared a "mandate" by some fairly determined folks 
to have their way with the rest of us.  Say "Good-bye" to women's 
rights, privacy, multi-culturalism, gay rights (especially to marriage), 
portions of free speech -- the list is seemingly endless.  And no, this 
isn't moaning -- it's a warning.  Poorly monitored situations in our 
evolution have had dire consequences...
