This is precisely the thing I'm talking about. Of COURSE CO2 levels have
gone up as we have gotten rid of a lot of green plants (that absorb it) and
as we burn fuel (creating by-prodcut CO2, but to say "either it will be
really warm or really cold" is hedging. Hey guess what, next Thursday, it's
either going to be cold or warm. You can't possibly say that "global
warming" will cause an ice-age. It wouldn't be global warming now wouldn't
it. That's my ONLY quarrel with Teemu's blogger. The term "global warming"
is meaningless. People use it as a moniker for 'uncertainty of our weather
patterns that may or may not be caused by a small CO2 increase'. That is
simply mis-named as 'global warming'. As I said, there is NO proof for a
warming of the globe. The globe does not have _A_ temperature. It is
disingenuous to use such terms and is really just a fear-mongering term.

"Don't do this, it contributes to global warming" Whatever!!!

The reason I drive a car that gets 50 mpg (my number one priority for
buying it) is because I refuse to pay twice as much for gas. I don't care
about gas running out or my emissions, I care about NOT HAVING that extra
100 bucks a month (that I would literally be burning up) to spend on
something else. I think all people should drive more economical vehicles,
not so they can reduce emissions, but so that we could get off the
dependency of the middle east and get the oil monkey off our collective
backs so that we can get out from under the thumb of the Saudis. But
'global warming'? pshaw! Whatever IS happening should not be called
'warming' if it 'may very well cause an iceage'. That's just silliness.
