Thank you for this, David, and thanks to Erin for letting us know. Eulogies
rarely deliver the goods, but in scoping out whether the news of
Mike’s demise was vastly premature, I hoped, I came across an obit of his
father, Thomas, on legacy.com. The commonality of Ondine
is one clue, but the tone of remembrances of Thomas led me to feel that this
could have been Mike the mourners spoke about. Not quite party time, folks, but
certainly I propose that we raise a glass to the Gearys. Take a look in the
Commercial Appeal (need a newspaper be THAT ‘on the nose’?) if legacy.com fails
you.

Those of you not on Facebook won’t know that Mike Geary died. He was on this
list and the one before it. He contributed much fun to my life and I want to
give public thanks for that. Those of you on Facebook will have seen a
lovely video of him dancing with his daughter, totally into it. Way to go,
Geary.
