Veronica: Seven is good.

In _Inanna’s Descent to the Netherworld_, die-hard Inanna surrenders seven accessories to enter seven gates to the underworld. Seven's also a big deal in _The Epic of Gilgamesh_ and _The Babylonian Story of the Flood_.

Britannica* suggests some cultural connections to the sustained popularity of "seven." In number symbolism, seven is the sum of the spiritual three and the material four. Pythagorean speculations praise seven for the musical scale, seven notes before the octave repeat.

Not surprising that Outlook wouldn't let Mike's numinous seven go to pieces. Maybe Ondine would enjoy hearing the homographic "Ondine" from Ravel's "Gaspard"?
