There are various implicatures invited by Grice here:
i. His use of "of all people".
There seems to be an implicature to the effect that this is "off all
people" but it shouldn't.
ii. His use of 'too'.
Grice seems to implicate that Putnam was implicating that Grice's being
_too_ formal was a bad thing, but surely this is cancellable as anyone who
loves his wine too French may testify!
