Redirected Hosts
Andy, do you have Spybot Search and Destroy running? They have a
redirected hosts file that "redirects" nasty hosts to your local host as
a protection against spyware, then locks the hosts file.
Your problem may be your antispyware program. This is just a guess, and
I am certainly no computer exegete or expert. But maybe you should look
at your antispyware program.
