There was a South African, beefy and heavily bearded, with a T-shirt a
size or two too small for him, and the muzzle of a gun artfully showing
through the top of his backpack. . . .
Thank you, Lawrence. I think this is the same fellow I often see on the
number 19 bus. He's usually reading a copy of Le Le Canard enchaîné, and
smiling to himself.
