'Identify' is such a precise word. How about 'depict,' 'refer to,' 'mention,'
'name,' etc.? Surely one's first Gricean response might be (mine was) to take
this as meaning that no corporate-funded _campaign_ ads which identify or refer
to a federal candidate may be run. This isn't an anti-Bush ad. It's an ad for an
anti-Bush movie. If this be sophistry, I don't want to hear about it.
