Next time I need suggestions for resolutions, I'll ask you. And it's a good
thing I was talking specifically about you when I talked about parenting. What
do I care about your parenting?

I suggest two New Year's resolutions, Irene.

1) Work at showing empathy
2) Learn a little more about Israel so your opinions are well-informed, not
anti-semitic.

Seeing you in an anti-semitic light makes me sad. I don't want to see you that
way. Watching more television isn't going to help you. The death and
destruction that's rampant on tv dramas won't help you break out of the "Dover
Beach" mentality you evince.

Anybody have any New Year's Resolutions they'd like to share? I don't drink
(not enough to matter), don't smoke, don't have any weight to lose, and don't
jump on the furniture. So, my New Year's Resolution is ... watch more
television.
