The founding fathers believed in national defense as have most leaders from
that time to this. We avoid war when possible, but when it is not possible,
we are not (if we are functioning as we should) afraid to take military
action.

To act against Islamists who have sworn our destruction and now seek atomic
weapons is prudent. That the Islamists intend us ill is a not something I
made up. It is the announced teaching of Islamist leaders. It is reflected
in present day Islamist speeches. It is accepting what the Islamists not
only believe but act out as they are able. All evidence points to their
seriousness. Iranians have already spoken of places they might bomb
including Britain. They are presently being helped to build missiles with
increased range.

I appreciate that the Iranians you know don't wish to destroy us. It is too
bad they don't run Iran.

Are we supposed to believe this as well? The founding fathers tried to avoid
wars.

Lawrence, you live in some sort of self-inflicted victim world where
everyone is out to get
you.

Relax, dude. Go to Los Angeles. See what the Iranians are like. Totally
delicious women and
beautiful food.
