Another DK move, The Five Little Pennies (I think), had me in terror of getting polio for years. Don't think that was the movie's aim, though. Revisiting old movies--a new thread here? I just saw _The Sound of Music_ again, and was shocked to see that the young fellow to whom the 16 year-old Lisle sang "I'll depend on you" turned out to be the Nazi who nearly did in her whole family.
