Surely, a penguin's egg emerges from a penguin.
It may be argued, alla Popper, that there's penguin holism. I.e. that the
things (a penguin's eggs) are more than the sum of their parts (the parts
of the aforementioned penguin's eggs).
But this is controversial.
But then:
i. _Everything_ is controversial for Popper, including (i).
So there.
