last night, i watched a DVD of "Friends", the TV show.

for me, Jennifer Anniston is a movie actress. i've never seen Friends.

practically all of you are in total shock. like, he's never seen Friends? has andreas been living in an al-qaeda cave all these years?

i don't watch TV, so i've never seen Friends.

i was once talking with this guy at a party in Hollywood; he's a major TV actor, and he asked what i thought of his show. i smiled and said i don't watch TV, so i've never seen his show. he thought that was funny.

anyway, Jennifer Anniston is a very good actress, even in Friends. Lisa Kudrow is fantastic. the writing is very good. if you've not seen Friends, a few episodes are worth watching. it's amusing.

tonight, i was going to watch Rang De Basanti (starring Aamir Khan), but the disc was cracked. dang! the movie is v popular in India and a number of Indian friends recommended it.

so i went back to Gombrowicz. after years of hearing about him, i bought a two-vol book that includes Kosmos and Pornografia. Kosmos is very well written and extremely funny. Brilliant combination of paranoic introspective lines with absurdist comments. the kind of stuff you quote to friends at lunch.

yrs,
andreas
