What?!!! Obama doesn't believe in a final judgment??? That does it. I'm definitely writing in RP. He's been giving final exams most of his life. You go, RP!

Robert: You quote 'There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead
will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found
written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the
beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment
in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death.'

What you quote is in the Bible. The difference between Dispensationalists
(including Pentecostals and Charismatics) is that they interpret passages
such as this literally in all respects, i.e., a literal book and a literal
lake of fire; whereas the traditional church has seen more symbolism. But
all "orthodox" Christians believe in a final judgment. [Wright, Cone and
Obama probably don't. I've seen no sign that their sect is orthodox]

I've no idea what you're talking about, Julie. Are you quoting from one
of the many lies the Left in panic has hurled at Palin? I haven't heard
them all. Most of them aren't very interesting. It sounds like you're
hurling this one at an Assemblies of God church in good standing.

Whew. I was afraid for a minute there that it had lost its good standing
by allowing evolutionary biologists who don't believe in the Flintstone
Doctrine, i.e., that dinosaurs and humans roamed the earth together, to
become members.

It's just a benign little group of Christians, doing their best to
promote understanding and tolerance, as one of their beliefs well
illustrates.

'There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised
and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in
the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and
the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in
the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.'

Comforting stuff. Every school child should be forced to recite it
before morning prayer.

Science? No problem.

What I'm scared of is pseudo-love coming from people with a highly
militant agenda which they believe is God-sponsored and God-sanctioned.
If you didn't have a chance to read the "Weird Theology of Wasilla"
piece that circulated on the list, I would be happy to cull a few of the
most pertinent sentences and post them.

Killing people because they don't want to convert to your understanding
of God is an odd way of perceiving love.

Julie,

I couldn't watch the first one. It kept sending me to my Gmail incoming
box. But I watched the second and third.

I have never heard of "refuge states"; so I can't comment on that.

The third video repeats the second. Did you listen to these, Julie? As
to the third except for the bit about the Refuge states, I could say
amen. All that talk about God's love is a refreshing change from
watching all that hate coming out of videos presenting the views of
Reverend Wright and James Cone.

Just remember, the candidate you like got 17 years of hate from Jeremiah
Wright.

And you are scared by all that love coming out of Alaska?

I de clare.
