You didn't know? Your media didn't report that election? (Hint: the
New York Times -- the only US paper I've checked so far reported it. I
bet some other papers, and some TV channels, did too... .)

No I didn't. I knew Le Pen was an extremist, but didn't know the other
details.
That's a virtue of this list. People know things that one doesn't yet
know. By reading their posts and reactions, one is exposed to new
issues, ideas, trends, etc.
Personally, I'm in favor of learning new things. So I thank you for the
hint.
