I remember chider John. His last name started with an 'L', didn't it? Logan? He chided me once. The only time I can remember being chided. Bad boy, bad boy, whacha gonna do? Whacha do when they come for you? Can't imagine now what I was chided for. Weren't there 3 chiders on duty at all times? Just in case you got by one. I remember that RP came to my defense. Said he didn't see that I merited a chide. Thanks, RP. We were all allowed so many chides within a time period before being expunged from the enrollment roster as I remember it. I never got to be a chider. I never got to be a Hall Monitor in grade school either. Still, Phil-Lit was fun and interesting, grade school never was.

John (someone), who was active on Phil-Lit, and was on the Board of Directors—or whatever we were. He teaches/taught at a university in Canada.

As soon as I hit SEND his name will occur to me.

Does everyone remember that we used to have an official Chider? Several people held that post. David Savory was the best.
