Andreas, please be informed that we in the Midwest also have earthquakes.
Not as frequently as Californians do however. We have cougars in the
suburbs as well as coyotes roaming around looking for my little Sheltie.
The big Sheltie that owns me actually looks like a coyote. And as if this
were not enough, we now have wolves in the lower peninsula of Michigan.
They just ambled across the frozen straights of Mackinaw. Part of me
thinks this is great, the wildlife that we displaced with suburbs are
returning. The other part of me wonders what I would do if coming face to
face with any of these critters. I consider myself to be a coward when
faced with wildlife. I love watching them through the window though.
