The problem is that real racism, which is certainly an
issue in Denmark (and Sweden, and pretty much every
else...) is magnified in the eye of its victim.

This of course is true but it's also true that the victim rather than the victimizer ought to be the one given primacy in the decision to determine if an offence had occurred; if I want to know what we should learn from the Holocaust, I'm asking a Jew, not a Nazi.


And as for who "owns" Islam and who gets to depict Muhammad, I can't emphasize strongly enough how little right we have in this. Islam is not for us to do with what we will. We have no right to it.

As usual, Americans claim the right be puerile as if they were in actuality doing something productive with their freedom of expression which really only amounts to name-calling and mud-slinging with impunity.

When any of you has anything truly productive to say about Islam, you'll be in a position to think about criticizing it.
