Ah, yes, "Those who are most prepared survive." Death, destruction, mayhem
will set us free. We can't think of any alternatives whatsoever. We are so
lucky to have you fighting for us, Lawrence. With friends like you, we don't
need any enemies.

Ah, you are engaging in an imaginary world, an alternate reality. I?m sorry I
disturbed you. I am back here in this world where war is part of the human
condition. It is a fact of life. Pious pacifistic wishes don?t count in this
world. If you pretend there is no war. If you think you can unilaterally
disarm and stop fighting all on your own. You will get stomped. It has always
been that way. Those who are most prepared survive. Those who don?t as in
your example, learn French. I have no patience with such nonsense. It doesn?t
mean anything. I don?t know why people even bother spouting that stuff. It
isn?t worth listening to. It isn?t based on reality, history or logic. It is
illogical. It won?t work. It is nonsense. Someone who actually has power and
tries to govern a state in accordance with those principles would be truly mad,
certifiable mentally ill. Recognizing reality for what it is and being prudent
about such matters as threats, security and war i
s common sense not mental illness. You are once again painting black white
and white black. I don?t know if that comprises mental illness but it must be
the next thing to it.

Lawrence

The battle is the same battle since day one. They're talking about
commemorating a battle from 1066 for crying out loud (I wonder who will play
the dead bodies and screaming babies in the re-creation). It's just another
excuse to have a war. It is absolutely, utterly unnecessary. We're going to
have a nuclear confrontation because people like you have an itch to scratch.
Talk about mental illness.

Its not a success yet, but the Leftist & Islamist descriptions of its being a
debacle are absurd. A lot is at stake in Iraq. If we can help them get a
workable non-militant government, the ramifications for the rest of the Middle
East would be enormous. It is a shame that so many people want Iraq to fail so
they can prove Bush wrong. This isnt about Bush. It is about a battle with a
hostile force and one of the major battlegrounds today is Iraq. Some of us
want it to succeed. Some of us think a successful Iraq is worth fighting for,
but the Anti-Americans hope we will lose. Being pessimistic about Iraq doesnt
place your standards higher than mine. Quite the contrary. Our troops have
complained about the twisted warped view swallowed over here as fact. They
think they are fighting for somet hing worth while and doing a good job, but
the anti-Americans are painting good evil and evil good.
