I agree with you, Lawrence, that the first photo in this collection is the
most "artful" you have sent. I've never thought of myself as a purist, but
I wish the dog had not butted in. Be that as it may, it's not only a
beautiful scene, it calls me to look deeper, and that, I think, is what art
is -- the evocation of moods, thoughts, dreams that float inchoate in us.
