I am not sure about the talk of escaping "the laws of this world" nor of
"pure intuition".  It seems to me that intuition is grounded in a
particular event such that the 'lightning flash' is a recognition of
connections or relations already present.  Instead of escaping the laws
of this world, I would suggest that intuition is, borrowing from
Heidegger, an openness or hearkening to the world.
