I was reminded offlist of a famous 'Johnny Dollar' character on the radio:

Incidentally, I wrote 'doller' on purpose. The OED gives the following
spelling variants for the American currency:
Forms: 6 daleir, -er, dal(l)or, dalder, doler, dolor, 6-7 daller, 7-8
doller, -or, 7- dollar.
