Isn't it more about shaken but not stirred? Jacobin Silver Cord is really about welding the Good into the machine. You have evil guys with incredibly organized superbad facilities. You have a Q/Hephaestus who arms Achilles with a bizarre shield. Welder 007 dispatches the vermin with one eye on the Good and one on the erotic. Every denouement is a coitus of master and disciple. Orgasm of the converted; wealth and power despised. The status quo is preserved by disregarding the call of authority, who is ignored lest he or she interrupt the terminal seduction. In other words, the call for debriefing is neglected because the last call is love.

Waiting for Janice Bond,
Eric
