"Bear in mind, everyone, that the movie is based on a graphic novel which,
for all its current ambitious artistic aspirations, has deep roots in the

The movie is based on a Frank Miller graphic novel. Perhaps the best way to
put the movie in its artistic context is to watch "Sin City", a recent movie
also based on a Miller graphic novel. In "Sin City", there are no 'good
guys' and 'bad guys', only degrees of bad. From what I have read, this is
also true of "300"
