Yo, list.I'm very busy these days with various projects and I must cut down on all distractions, incl. this list.
I'm switching my acct to vacation-mode; i.e., I won't get any Lit-Ideas emails. This will go on until sometime in April.
Some of you might remember: Teemu Pyyluoma is the list co-moderator. Teemu and I have been discussing the handover. He is also maxed out on work, but he'll manage the list for several months.
If you thought you had difficulties in dealing with me in Calif, now you have to deal with Teemu in Finland. He acknowledges technical requests only if written in formal Finnish using the adessive case (however, urgent requests may be written in the translative case).
For those who need to refresh their Finnish, there's a brief article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_grammar . It includes sentences such as "To make this negative, 'älkää' (which is the definite imperative present plural 2nd person of the negation verb) is placed before the positive form and the suffix '-ko' or '-kö' is added to the verb stem." That doesn't make sense even in English.
Not to worry: JL Speranza's posts won't be lost: the Handover Plan included a discussion of how to handle JL's postings. JL's posts will continue on the list at the stately pace of four per day.
I'll be available via personal email andreas@xxxxxxxxxxx yrs, andreas www.andreas.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ To change your Lit-Ideas settings (subscribe/unsub, vacation on/off, digest on/off), visit www.andreas.com/faq-lit-ideas.html
