I use g-mail as well (but only for this confounded list because for some
reason freelists won't let me subscribe with my REAL address) and I've never
had such a weird problem, but the interesting thing is that I have all my
gmail stuff forwarded to my 'real' address and it in that program, the
numbers are random and all over the place. If I look at one of your messages
IN gmail, they just occur at the end of the mail, as in Robert's post -- one
per line in succession. Certainly a bizarre phenomenon. It sounds like a
computer thing to me, but what do I know.
