[lit-ideas] Grice on my Cat

Even though the name of my cat is officially Frutty, we usually refer to her
and address her simply as 'maca.' (diminutive for she/cat in Serbian.) She
doesn't seem to be bothered by being addressed by a universal rather than an
individual name, as it were. I am hoping for a Gricean commentary on this
weighty philosophical topic.
