I'd do it (in fact that gives me incentive to  visit the Grand Canyon  
-- not like the mules weren't enough). As long  as it's a significant  
glass skywalk, and not like the dinky one here  at the CN Tower, which  
is comprised of, say, two or three glass panes  spanning 4'x4' in total.
