I don't recall who it was on this list who hated gMail because of the viewing issues, but one nice trick is that in the "search mail" box, you can type in "is:unred" (sans quotes) and it only displays unread mail. If you combine that w/ the labeling (choosing to read all with a specific label), it makes it pretty usable. Julie Krueger
