Geary introduces two supplementary to that of Duns Scotus's  "essentia":

meta-essence

and

co-essence.

In a message dated 1/24/2016 2:03:25 P.M. Eastern  Standard Time,
jejunejesuit.geary2@xxxxxxxxx writes:
I believe they are  co-essentials, language and humans, you can't have one
without the other.

This might be difficult to provide a symbolisation for. As Strawson would
say, "Who cares?". But alas, ONE thing was mentioned in Strawson's obituary:
Grice's retort to that: "If you can't put it in symbols it's not worth
saying."  Grice was then Strawson's tutor. Strawson is said to have responded,
"No, tutor.  If you can put it in symbols, it's not worth saying it!".

They remained the best of friends from then on!

Cheers,

Speranza
