Through the grapevine...

You will be upset to note that the stock market flotation of Springer
Nature just failed.  This leaves them with a massive ongoing debt.

demand-forces-springer-nature-to-cancel-3-2-billion-euro-
float-at-last-minute-idUKKBN1I928O

But revenues - profit margin seems to be about 22.9%.

"Springer Nature, which says it is the largest English language academic
book publisher with 13,000 new books every year, reported adjusted earnings
before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of 551 million euros on
revenues of 1.64 billion euros in 2017."
