SS: You speak as if you're familiar with the universe of families out there. 
How many families are you intimately acquainted with? You speak like a college 
freshman -- generalizing about the world from a tiny sample of acquaintances.

I'd say I was a very good father. Being a good father was important to me. Your 
uninformed generalization makes me wonder about everything you say, Irene.

I should add, in nearly all cases.  There are a precious few good human parents
