This list always brings out the ignorance in me.  I'll google the CD,  but my 
computer speakers are screwy....  one of you give me an idea what  genre of 
music he does?  I'm, er, totally unfamiliar with the  guy.....

Indeed it is.  Thanks to Donal I am familiar with the CD  and it is one of 
the most haunting I've heard in a long, long time.  I  absolutely love it and 
haven't been able to listen to anything else for  awhile though many await 
me.  There was a big spread on Anthony and the  Johnsons in this past 
Sunday's NYT Magazine.  Thanks again to Donal for  leading me to the light.
