I've always wondered... Clinton was impeached and yet he finished his second term. What ramifications does impeachment have if not to end an presidency? He didn't get disbarred. He's making millions on the talk-show circuit. Did 'impeachment' have ANY deleterious effects on Senor Clintona?

Judy has sort of explained it. Think of impeachment as being analogous to a criminal proceeding. The House's vote on 'articles of impeachment' was like an indictment; the Senate's consideration of the charges was like a trial, a trial in which Clinton (who had a 70% popular approval rating AFTER the House had voted articles of impeachment), was aquitted.
