HI,
No, what they are trying to do is to set things up so that the locals (ie
Gov of LA and Mayor) were incompetent. Apparently on either Friday or Sat. Bush

was trying to get the governor to hand over all authority to the feds--that
way he could say it was their fault. She has enlisted the help of the guy who
was head of FEMA under Clinton to advise her of all that needs to be done and
he advised NOT to do that--

I suspect that will be their spin...and we all know if you say something
over and over again, people will begin to believe it.

We'll see.

anyone else notice that Bush declined the offer of help from Sweden to get
clean water up and going again?

Maybe he has a crony who he wants to give the contract to...someday.

A children's book author, who lives in Houston, talked with people at the
Astrodome. She provided an address, and said boxes of books should be labeled
BOOKS or READING MATERIALS, and that they likely had a great need for
children's books.
