Imagine if people liked God instead of loving him? Or if they liked their
kids instead of loving them? Or liked chocolate instead of loving it? Or
liked their country instead of loving it? Or just about anything else,
including sex. Can you imagine the freedom that liking would confer? Then
we wouldn't have to hate, and there would be so much more energy left over
for joy.
