That well-known liberal rag, the Army Times, has caught McCain lying about
his support for the army's Future Combat Systems.

With even Karl Rove commenting publicly that the McCain campaign has gone
over the line into outright lies, I am wondering if even some Repugs are
wondering if McCains's inability to separate what he would like to be true
from what actually happens to be true might be more a little more worrying
a problem than just over-aggressive campaigning.
Add a possible president with a loose grip on reality and a possible veep
who thinks smiling and tossing her head will cover all ethical lapses, lies,
and vast expanses of ignorance, and you have a pretty scary picture,
possibly even scary to Karl Rove.

After all, it is one thing to elect a puppet who is used to being bailed out
by Daddy's friends and will do what he is told, another entirely to elect a
loose cannon with an unpredictable temper, with a back up from the religious
right that Karl Rover himself used to call "nutty" while exploiting their
faith. That's not good for business, big or small.
