Into the radio/cassette recorder (remember those?) on the workbench I'd pop one 
of the cassettes of Yo Yo Ma's recordings of J.S. Bach's Solo Cello Suites.

May I commend the Pierre Fournier recordings - these get to the heart, mind and 
spirit of Bach like no other, including Yo Yo's (after them, Rostropovich's 
celeberated traversal seems quite wrong, even though initially very impressive 
in virtuoso terms [R can, and often does, make it sound like there are two 
cellos]). Though almost fifty years old, and mono, the recording quality of the 
Fournier is excellent. 

Hold on. Yes, I've just checked on my ipod - the above is correct.
