Andyrene: A question is how the fantasy of arrogant gun
toting cowboy may have served you and what the loss of that
illusion means.
It's like somebody dislikes you as Andy and then they learn
you are Irene and they dislike you as Irene. You are used to
being disliked as Andy, but then you have to get used to
being disliked as Irene too.
Same with the cowboy thing. Being hated as the gun-toting
cowboy of the world is one thing, but being the timid,
bureaucratic, and self-serving "movie background" American
is quite another.
