Hannah Arendt's famous book, Eichmann in Jerusalem, the film presents a=20=

devastating portrait of what she called "the banality of evil".

On May 11, 1960, 40 years ago, Adolf Eichmann, a leading player in the=20=

Holocaust, was captured by the Israeli Secret Service in Argentina,=20
where he had been living for ten years as "Ricardo Klement". One year=20
later he was put on trial in Jerusalem, seated in a specially-designed=20=

bulletproof glass box, for crimes against "humanity". To record the=20
historic trial, the Israelis hired noted American documentarian Leo=20
Hurwitz who shot 350 hours, from which filmmakers Eyal Sivan and Rony=20
Bauman have constructed THE SPECIALIST.
