Paul: very strange when a person past the age of about 18 (unless they have discovered a horrible terminal condition) offs themselves.



_Oblivion_ is a great short story collection. It's a gathering of brilliantly bitter pills similar in tone to George Saunders' _In Persuasion Nation_.

Too many text virtuosi checking out of the globalist Curly-Howard-with-an-IPod world*.

Thought writers were supposed to leave us hanging, not the other way around. Bleak ironic quip .. yeah, he might have liked that. Or maybe not.**
