Westminster College in Fulton is a 25 mile drive from where I live -- and my
husband's business is there. Cheney apparently significantly angered the Pres
of Westminster when he spoke there on Mon. -- he was anticipating a "major
foreign policy speech" and, according to local news (I was not there to hear
the
puppet-meister) at least half of the speech was pure Kerry-bashing. The Pres
of W. hastily extended an invitation to Kerry to speak at the same location.
Kerry, derailing a trip to Springfield, MO, has agreed and will, last minute,
be speaking on Friday. Now THAT one I'll be attending.
