Definitions:
'GOD', in capitals, refers to the Godhead (i.e. God in its attributeless
essence) of the various theistic religions, to the Ultimate or Unconditioned of
non-theistic religions, and to the Absolute of philosophers. 'God' refers to
personalized conceptions of GOD, i.e. GOD adorned with certain
(anthropomorphic) attributes.
'BEING', in capitals, refers to being qua being, to the most general concept,
to being as such (and not just as it manifests itself in things that appear to
be, as the being that things appear to have), to the essence (i.e. being) of
MYSELF and everything else (including the person that I took MYSELF to be), to
bare being (i.e. barren of identification with e.g. the human being). It is
sometimes pointed at with words like awareness, presence, or consciousness.
BEING is nothing (in particular) and all (in essence). BEING contains
everything; nothing contains BEING. BEING is at once transcendent (because
everything appears to BEING) and immanent (because everything appears in
BEING).
'I' refers to what I AM, in essence, in the ultimate analysis, in the strictest
sense, i.e. to 'my' essence, 'my' BEING, 'my' soul, 'my' spirit, atman, the
light of 'my' world, or in more neutral terms, to that which everything else
appears and disappears in and to. 'I' does not refer to the person (or 'mask'),
the human being that I took MYSELF to be, neither to the body-mind organism,
nor to the body or the mind, nor to any roles or functions of either. 'I' is
token-reflexive, i.e. you should consider 'I' to refer to yourself.
'IS' and other conjugations and substantiations of the verb 'to be' are
capitalized (e.g. BEING, BE, AM, IS, ARE, etc.) wherever they are used as an
intransitive main verb, or otherwise refer to (the defined term) BEING. To
highlight the fact that the terms 'I', 'ME', and 'MYSELF' also refer to that
same BEING they are also capitalized. Any such capitalization is merely to
avoid confusion, not because BEING is considered divine or holy or requires
respect or anything like that.
The copulas 'is' and 'am', not capitalized, express a relation of identity,
i.e. synonymity. The proofs claim that GOD = BEING = I = what IS.
Subsequently, the corresponding premises are reversible, i.e. 'GOD is BEING'
and 'BEING is GOD', and 'I am GOD' and 'GOD is I'.
To illustrate the meaning of the premise 'BEING IS', it can provisionally be
read as 'BEING is what IS' or 'BEING exists'. Properly understood, it is
synonymous with 'I AM', or 'I am what IS' or 'I exist'.
