The main point was that fascism can and indeed
typically does arise as a reaction to democracy.
Robert Paul suggested an example of Italy to argue
that it does not necessarily have to arise as a
reaction to democracy. (However Italy had a strong
populist tradition dating from Garibaldi.) You, as
usually, pick on a triviality to shoot off an
irrelevant response.

Robert Paul wrote of color-coding: Surely this was an
unsuccessful attempt to manipulate people. 


It's an effective tool for police forces and first
responders, since the coding is directly tied to law
enforcement activity, but it is utterly useless for
the general public.
