I explained no such thing. Read it again. I made a joke about red-
baiting and nothing more.
I understand your reasoning for your view. Social Security is not a
hot-button issue with me and I brought it up only to point out that
conservatives who give lip service to small federal government
haven't even brought the legitimate idea of ending Social Security to
the national table for debate. Like most people who follow politics
I have my philosophical principled beliefs and my pragmatic outlook
of what can actually be accomplished. Clearly SS is on the
philosophical side of the ledger.
